design
At Numa Gardens, we believe in a few core tenants that guide our process
- We believe that our entire process should start with the land, not as an afterthought but as a north star
- We believe that new structures should compliment rather than contrast with the surrounding environment. It should feel like it's always been there
We design complete environments - where architecture and landscape are inseparable. Every structure we create belongs to its setting; every garden becomes part of the architecture. A form of integrated design where there is harmony between home and place.
- We believe that the conversation between land and home should happen as early as possible to help inform placement, function, and flow
- We believe in self-perform build work so that there are no handoffs or lapses in communication between design and execution
- We believe that all end-users of a space should be considered and given a voice, from the beginning of the process
